✦ Before you order, please make sure to have read the Terms of Service of the artist, clowneree.✦ These terms apply to private commissions only. This information is NOT applicable for commercial work, therefore the art can only be used for the client’s personal purposes.✦ All prices are base prices. Factors that might increase the price are complex character designs, number of characters, inability to provide a clear visual reference, complex backgrounds and amount of detail requested for the piece.✦ Additional fees are added for the following: FFXIV characters, Genshin/Mihoyo characters, closed species, and characters that I may consider complex. Fees may vary from $5.00 to $20.00 depending on the commission type, so please make sure to read through the final quotation before we start!✦ If you have a concern with any of these terms, please discuss with the artist prior to paying for your commissioned piece.✦ The final artwork (in .JPG and .PNG format) will be delivered via email or GDrive link after the payment is fully settled. Custom Designs: Terms of Service
✦ Custom designs (also termed as "Character Designs" and "Designs") by clowneree include custom character design commissions, adoptable designs and closed species designs.✦ DESIGNS ARE ONLY FOR PERSONAL USE. If you'd like to use it commercially, please send discuss with me.✦ Additional fees are added for the following: FFXIV characters, Genshin/Mihoyo characters, closed species, and characters that I may consider complex. Fees may vary from $5.00 to $20.00 depending on the commission type, so please make sure to read through the final quotation before we start!✦ You acknowledge that the design is only a DIGITAL ITEM and does not require shipping.✦ You acknowledge that you, the buyer, confirmed that you WILL pay for the digital item and may not claim a chargeback or report for an unshipped physical item.✦ You acknowledge that you agreed and will pay within the set timeline. Failure to do so will result in the design being put up for re-sale.✦ You may not resell the design without notifying the artist. You may not resell the design at a higher price than what it was originally bought for.✦ You may resell the design at its original price + the cost of extra commissions, if there are any.✦ DO NOT CLAIM THE DESIGN AS YOUR OWN. Holds and Payment Plans
(for Adoptables)
✦ A claim is when you "comment" on an open adopt and I acknowledge that you intend on purchasing it.✦ A hold is when you ask for some time to pay for an adopt. If the adopt isn't over 100 USD / 6500 PHP, the payment must be made within one week (maximum).✦ I will accept holds but only for a maximum of 1 week. If payment is not made by then, the adopt will be put up for re-sale.✦ Payment plans are only available for adopts claimed at 100 USD / 6500 PHP and above.✦ Payment plans have a negotiable duration, but I will only accept a minimum of 50% of the price for the first payment.✦ Downpayments are generally non-refundable- however I am open to negotiating a partial refund on a case-to-case basis. Please message me directly for this.
Auction Rules
(for Adoptables)
✦ The adopt will be won by the highest bidder within the set time.✦ If the highest bidder cancels/fails the transaction or is no longer interested, the adopt will go to the second highest bidder.✦ Please make sure you will be able to pay within the set time, serious bids only. If a comment is deleted, the user will be added to a blacklist.

I. General Terms
✦ Watermarked versions of drawings may not be altered. Do not attempt to remove the artist name.✦ Prices are subject to change: what is quoted as base price is not the final total for the commission.✦ The artist has the right to reject any order that they do not feel comfortable drawing for any reason.
II. Payment
✦ Currency accepted is either United States Dollars (USD) for foreign clients, or Philippine Pesos (PHP) for local clients.✦ Payments can be paid through PayPal, Ko-fi, and VGen (foreign clients), or GCash and bank transfer (local clients).✦ Commissions may be paid either (a) 100% upfront, or (b) split 50% upfront after sketch approval, then 50% before delivery of final artwork.✦ The payment must be settled AFTER receiving the invoice document prepared by the artist.✦ By settling the payment invoice for the artist’s services (art), the client automatically agrees to the artist’s Terms of Service. If you do not agree to the terms stated, please do not proceed with payment.
III. Process & Delivery
✦ The artist will notify you when they have started on the commission. Cancellation of the commission after approval of the sketch is subject to a cancellation fee. (See Point VII for refunds and cancellations).✦ While the artist is working on the client's commission, they will be updating periodically (usually every 1-2 weeks) on the progress. The client may also message the artist to check.✦ The timeline for a commission varies from 1 week - 3 months, depending on factors such as health, the complexity of the commissioned piece, and other work.✦ If anything comes up that will delay the project completion, the artist will send a message to the client to inform them of possible changes to the delivery time.✦ The final artwork (in .JPG and .PNG format only) will be delivered via email or GDrive link after the payment is fully settled. Native files of the artwork (.psd, .clip, etc.) will not be provided.✦ All art commissions made by clowneree are digital products only, and therefore, do not require any physical shipping.✦ Please save the final products as soon as possible. The artist will delete files every January (of the following year). The artist will not be able to re-compensate or recover these files once deleted.
IV. Revisions
✦ FOR RENDERED / ILLUSTRATION / DESIGN COMMISSIONS: Revisions can be made before the rough draft is finalized. Only up to 3 revisions during the lineart (sketch clean-up) phase.✦ FOR SKETCH COMMISSIONS: Revisions are only available when the artist initiates an approval.✦ If the character reference is already unclear to start with, changes will come at an extra charge.✦ The artist will initiate when revisions can be made. These will require the client's approval. Please be thorough and make sure to review everything before approval.✦ Changes can be classified as major or minor. It is up to the artist's discretion what qualifies as major or minor changes. Major changes will have higher fees than minor changes.✦ The client may request a maximum of 3 changes during revision approvals. Changes requested after approvals will incur a fee.✦ Revisions resulting from errors due to artist negligence will be free of charge.
V. Copyright & Usage Policy
✦ I, clowneree (the artist), claim the rights to the produced drawing, not the client.Therefore, I am allowed to use the copyrighted artwork to:- Promote my commissions- Publish books with it (artbooks, etc.)- Display it anywhere to my liking (website, social media, etc.), unless the client has asked to keep the commission private.
✦ The client is allowed to:- Use the commissioned piece for personal use (you can upload it on all your social media profiles, forums, etc.), unless agreed otherwise- Print the artwork and claim the character(s) as their own, but not the artwork itself.- Post the artwork on social media platforms. Credit is required, and only the watermarked version may be shared publicly.- Use the artwork on their channel and in monetized videos as long as the artwork itself is not the main subject for the earnings.
✦ The following is considered copyright infringement:- Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially: means making money off it in any way.- Claiming the artwork as your own- Removing the watermark from the artwork- Altering the artwork without the artist's consent
✦ I reserve the full rights to the image and it's use/distribution unless otherwise agreed upon (rights to the image for your own non-personal use may be purchased at any time).
VI. Customer Satisfaction
✦ If the client has a concern with anything in regards to the commissioned piece, please reach out to the artist right away so a solution may be arranged.✦ The artist is willing to specifically change terms for the client if they ask before the start of the project.✦ If the client, e.g., wants to keep the commission private, they may bring this up to the artist.
VII. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refunds are issued on a case-to-case basis. The artist only offers partial refunds of up to 50% except when:✦ If for any reason the artist is unable to send an initial sketch on the date agreed upon in the invoice (Projected Start), the client is entitled to a full refund.✦ If the client cancels the order before an initial sketch is sent, the client is entitled to a full refund.
✦ On the event that the CLIENT requests a cancellation during project progress:
If the artist has only received 50% of the payment upon a cancellation request, an extra 25% of the full payment will be paid to the artist as the cancellation fee. The current artwork will be sent as is.
If the artist has received 100% of the payment upon a cancellation request, the client will no longer pay a fee, but is not entitled to any refund. The current artwork will be sent as is.
✦ On the event that the ARTIST requests a cancellation during project progress:
If the artist has only received 50% of the payment, the client is entitled to 25% of the current deposit as a refund. The current artwork will be sent will be sent as is.
If the artist has received 100% of the payment, the client is entitled to 50% of the current deposit as a refund. The current artwork will be sent will be sent as is.
✦ If the client is entitled to a refund, they must NOT initiate a PayPal chargeback. The artist will transfer the money back to the client.✦ If the client inititates a PayPal chargeback at any point in the work process or after project delivery, the client will lose all beforementioned rights to the commissioned piece and the artist will have the full right to profit further from it in any way. The artist will decline the chargeback and supply PayPal with evidence (the invoice, the agreement, the terms of service, and conversations in which both parties have talked about the commission) as evidence that the artist has done or completed work for the client. Furthermore, the client will be blacklisted and will be unable to commission the artist again.✦ If the client breaks any of the points stated above, the client will lose all beforementioned rights to the commissioned piece and the artist will have the full right to profit further from it in any way.✦ If the client has a concern with any of these statements, the client may discuss with the artist prior to payment.
